Week 5: It's all about PRETZELS!

But first, let's play the human pretzel game. How many awkward ways can you tangle yourself and still get out?

In order to make pretzels, we need to harvest its main ingredient: WHEAT! After that, threshing and winnowing (process of using wind) are in order to get the grain.

Doron teaching the students how to "thresh."

After threshing, the students winnow in order to to separate the grain from the chaff.

Using a traditional winnowing basket.

Later, the students ground the grain into flour, made it into pretzels, and baked them in a cob oven.
